This is part 5 of a 5-part series, going over the top 5 reasons we found why companies are not investing in video marketing. Today, we’re going over #5: “Lack of Management Vision”.
So here we go!
This kind of comment is clearly written by someone who understands that video is a great way to market, but they just can’t get the buy in of their higher ups.
If you’re in this situation, the solution is simple: educate them on video, and the benefits it would have for the company. Having a good video in your marketing arsenal is like having another employee who is talking about your brand 24 hours a day, who doesn’t need benefits and aside from the upfront cost, doesn’t require a salary.
I created a PDF that will get them up to speed on the power of video. A bonus tip: discuss it with them after lunch. Physiologically speaking, people are happier and more agreeable when there’s food in them.
The next step would be to offer to reach out to a video agency to sit down and go over what they’d like to do and brainstorm on ideas. Most video companies are happy to provide free, no obligation estimates so you know what you’re getting into.
